I train all players SP once they reach a certain level. I don't know how many goals but I sure score a lot of goals from both free kicks and corners.
What I have the most about corner goals is that sometimes 2 players tip the ball to each other. That feels like SP is working.

I train set pieces for all players who have heading as key attribute and also for my best passers to use as corner/freekick taker. Not huge amount of goals (have 5 so far this season) but 3 of them were critical goals that decided the match.

i basically train those who takes the shot / the corner to 70, and headers to 60.

League : 6 goals ( 2 direct, 4 assist )
Cups : 5 goals ( 1 direct, 4 assist )
direct is either free kicks or penalty. assist mainly from corner.
