Hi all!
Although F4Football ranks at the top of my favourite online games thanks especially to its active developper and very active community, there are a couple of other games that I (still) play online.
Note that I have played dozens if not all online manager games in my quest to find the perfect fix. Many of these - and extremely addictive games they were - have gone the way of the Dodo, usually because they were one-man-projects without enough activity and thus not generating enough revenue for them to be of vital interest to their creator.
It is for this reason that I would like to introduce these two games that have stood the test of time and retain their interest for me:
Note that I am giving you my referral links, which you may use - or not, whatever you prefer!
1. Maxithlon. The one and only! This is by far the best Track and Field Manager game out there! Very tricky as far as economy is concerned, especially at the upper levels of the competition. https://www.maxithlon.com/?r=91418.
2. Rocking Soccer. Simple and efficient Soccer Managment. I find the variety of buildings that you can develop especially attractive in this game. The development team had gone awk for quite a long while, but they are reactivated now! https://rockingsoccer.com/el/soccer/invitation?ref_id=13197&chk=634e0b0964

Use to play Rocking soccer, too slow season progression to my liking so stopped it when I found this one.
Managerleague is the only other football manager sim I play now.
Most other games I play are small games on the mobile nowadays. Started playing the old Caesar 3 and Age of Empires too on steam when I was a bit bored.

howie1234
I play :-
Hattrick
Battrick
Rocking Soccer
Sokker
Leonidaspan
Maxithlon ,sokker , hattrick ,Rocking sokker
Loko Rodrigues
I only play F4 and Sokker. I've been to several others, but none were as exciting, except Goleada. Man, this game was very addictive, totally interactive, but it went bankrupt
And there was a Brazilian one too, but I think it was only released in Brazil and Portugal, Star Evolution
Michael Hextall
https://www.finalwhistle.org/ is excllent, very active and supportive community
https://www.footballarena.org/ is also very good but it appears to be largely non-english speaking folk so the community element is a little thin
Yvon
used to play hattrick, sokker, profurgol, dugout ... :-)
now just here and matchday11.

Hey i'm new here.
Currently playing this and also, https://www.virtualmanager.com/ and https://sokker.org/
Alex Kalinin
I also play hockey-nation.com
The best hockey manager, imo.
Batuhan
I played powerplay manager. Compared to this game, it's extremely slow paced. Also its development has stopped, and is losing users. If you like basketball manager, i still suggest though. There is also managerzone, but even though it's not pay-to-win, being paid user has a lot affects. Also it doesn't have a good enough facilities system compared to other games.

Seen quite a few people mention Sokker on here, is it good and how does it compare to F4F? One thing I like about this game is the speed of play and the constant activity so wouldn't be keen on anything that's a lot slower.

I play Basketpulse (I like it because it does not have buildings, and your income depends basically of tour results in the game, some fast improvement),
Gpro (sportsracing manager, fast depreciation of the building, and like basketpulse the income depends a lot of your league and results, so fast improvement too)
and Broken Bats (Baseball manager, good because has lots of hidden abbilities and you need to scout your players performance and not only grow the best attributes of each player)

If it's about online football manager games, I play Rocking Soccer besides this, no others. The only non-browser game I play is Football Manager 24.

Trophymanager.com for me.
I am still playing dugoutsoccer.com but that really is in its final death throes.
Michael
I've cut down recently so only play
Broken Bat - Baseball
Hardwood and Buzzerbeater Manager - Basketball
Maxithlon - Athletics
Battrick - Cricket
F4Football and Sokker Manager - Football
Recently ditched Gameplan Hockey Manager (Ice Hockey), Progression Football (US Football) - both me throwing my toys out of the pram really as both decent games I think, and just kind of stopped playing Track King (horse racing) and From the Pavilion (Cricket).
I did start playing Hockey Nation when a different Hockey game folded but didn't really give it a chance, played Trophy Manager but a bit too pay to win for me. Transfers in Dugout Soccer was a big turnoff for me (or was that Rocking Soccer - played both briefly and get confused). Never managed to get interested in GPro (tried a couple of times) and same with My Racing Career. Rocking Tennis was good but a bit of a grind. Peloton (cycling) was good but was dying so moved to velo manager (cycling) which seemed good but my French isn't good enough for me to understand what to do so recently stopped that. Pennant War was another good baseball one, quite expensive though from memory. Redzone Action (US Football) was good but low users and player costs kept getting out of hand so gave up.
Always on the lookout for others - maybe I'll give Hocket Nation another try.
