We did it!!

Omaha was lighting up last night as they witnessed their newly beloved team run out winners in the French Division 2.3 League Cup, beating Equuleus United 1-0 in the final. This only added onto the celebrations as the Owls also were crowned champions of the French Division 2.3, ending the season with a 3-0 victory against Aquila Dominators.

"It's everything we could have ever wanted," recalled star midfielder Jonathan Braithwaite in a short interview after the League Cup final, "it's all down to the hard work and dedication we made this season."

"After the game, I immediately called my grandma to tell her the news!" told us an ecstatic Alexander Wilson-Brown. When we asked him why he decided to call his grandmother of all people, he immediately blushed and asked for no further questions.

Regardless, the Owls will have to make sure they don't rest on their laurels, as a bigger challenge awaits them in the top flight of the league in France. The next issue will include an exclusive interview with the manager as he tells us his expectations for the next season.
