We are hearing that the current owner Sheik Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has decided to walk away from the club after ten years in ownership. It is not known exactly why the decision was made but he was heard as he left the club saying he simply "had something better to do". The club's current business model has relied heavily on his fortunes being invested in the club and suddenly a huge gap has now appeared in the clubs budget. It is also understood that at the request of one of his wives, that the Parc de Princes be torn down and rebuilt back in Qatar as a large walk in clothes closet!

No owner and no stadium...surely things can't get any worse you say?! Well after checking down the back of the sofa for loose change came up short, it is clear that many of the first team will have their contracts terminated due to the lack of funds being available. Greats such as Di Maria, Neymar and Mbappe have already left for clubs all around Europe and the rest are in the process of getting moves also. Now no players or staff!

Dark, dark days here in Paris and at the moment it is hard to see how PSG will get through this.

Further reports to follow as and when we have more news.

We are delighted to finally hear some more positive news coming out of PSG. In what can only be considered a rather odd move - a chap from England, called "Jon" has somehow taken over the club. There is much talk of his impressive C.V. but it would appear that the many of his achievements were from "Football Manager" as opposed to real life success. So what do we know about him as a man?

A man, a thinker, a lover, a friend, a boss...simply known as "Jon". We asked Jon for a comment on the takeover:

"I am delighted to be installed as the new owner and manager of PSG. This club has incredible history and I hope to continue that for years to come. We have to be realistic, the club has very little at the moment. The stadiums "removal" was a shock to everyone here but I look forward to returning the Parc de Princes back to its original glory brick by brick if necessary. We have managed to assemble a new team of players from all around the world and I hope this will ensure we remain a global brand despite the changes we have gone through. I hope the fans can stay with us, support the lads and see us build back from the bottom again".

The French league association have today also confirmed the clubs relegation to the second tier of French football. It is yet to be seen how well the new team can match up to this standard.

Until our next report, stay positive and be assured any updates and we will be the first to announce it here!
