Season 37 marked a significant chapter in the saga of Maidaan Master, affirming their place in Norway's top division. With a third consecutive mid-table finish, the club solidified its reputation as a formidable force, clearly distancing itself from relegation threats. The collective belief within the footballing community is now stronger than ever: Maidaan Master is here to stay.

A major highlight of the season was Tenzin Dorji's remarkable achievement. Winning the Best Defender of the League award was a monumental moment for both the player and the club. "It's a proud moment for us," Manager Darshan Shinde beamed. "Tenzin's dedication and skill have been pivotal to our success. For a mid-table team to clinch such a prestigious award is a testament to his hard work and our strategic vision." This accolade, being the first Division 1 award for Maidaan Master, injected a wave of euphoria among fans and players alike, especially given that Dorji was a recent addition to the squad.

Off the pitch, Maidaan Master underwent a massive reshuffling of its coaching staff. "Change is necessary for growth," Shinde noted. "We wish all our departing coaches the best in their future endeavors and welcome the new team with open arms." This overhaul is seen as a strategic move to bring fresh perspectives and bolster the club’s long-term development.

In the National Trophy, Maidaan Master celebrated another first: reaching the quarter-finals. The journey through the tournament showcased the team's growing prowess and resilience. Adding to the list of firsts, young defensive midfielder Asier Santana, on loan from Spain, was named Best Youth Player. "Maidaan Master provided me with the platform to shine," Santana expressed gratefully before his return to Spain.

The season also saw emotional farewells as club legends Michael Yome and Chimi Dorji hung up their boots. Yome, the brilliant winger who scored 63 goals in 106 matches, leaves behind a legacy of spectacular performances and memorable moments. "Michael's contribution to the club is immeasurable. He’s a true superstar," Shinde acknowledged. To fill Yome's shoes, Maidaan Master welcomed 21-year-old Yu Yao-hsing from Taiwan. "I'm excited to start this new chapter and honor Michael’s legacy," Yu stated with determination.

Chimi Dorji's retirement marks the end of an era. "Chimi has been a pillar of our defense for years. His leadership and dedication will be missed," Shinde said. The club's strategy now involves nurturing young talents and maintaining the robust defensive structure Dorji helped build.

Looking ahead, Darshan Shinde has set ambitious targets. "Next season, we’re aiming for a top 8 finish," he declared confidently. With a solid foundation, a blend of experienced and young talents, and a rejuvenated coaching staff, Maidaan Master is poised to climb higher in Norway's footballing hierarchy.

As Season 37 concludes, Maidaan Master stands as a symbol of determination, strategic brilliance, and unwavering spirit. The club's journey continues to inspire, with every step forward echoing the promise of greater glories to come.
