Late into season 12, Jong Ajax signed on Justin Holden to be their new manager. The club started with no facilities nor staff. In less than half of a season, Holden has succeeded in signing a full staff team as well as overseeing the creation of the club's stadium and training facility. More importantly, Holden has led his team to winning the Netherlands Division 2.2 League Cup trophy in this short time, as well as a 2nd place finish in Netherlands Division 2. It is now round 54 out of 60 in season 12 and Jong Ajax finds themselves in the playoffs with possible promotion to Netherlands Division 1 at stake. There has been some speculation in the media that opponents of Jong Ajax may throw the matches because they are scared to face Netherlands Division 1 competition. Holden, however, is no coward. He wants his club in the top flight of Dutch football even if it's players aren't ready yet in terms of experience and talent.

Holden's career record in competitive matches as of 3/16/2022: 6-1-1
