We had a couple of seasons with no major updates or added features, mostly due to us improving the backend stability and technical stuff on the game. But it is time to break it, and you can expect updates as usual from now on.

Tax Rates

A few of you were complaining about high profit tax rates which more or less had a negative impact on people making profits towards the end of the season - especially from player sales - leaving them with not much time to spend that money on. We decided to look at some data regarding this, and after careful analysis we found that profit taxes needed to be cut down. The primary objective of taxes were to stop people from accumulating too much bank balance, and this is needed to maintain the balance of the in-game economy. So we have decided to reduce profit taxes and increase the fortune taxes slightly, so that a one-season profit won't affect you too much unless you were having too much money in the bank.

The revised tax rates will be effective next season (Season 27), meaning it will not affect tax calculations for this season. For the current season, taxes will be deducted from your bank balance as per the existing rates at the end of this season.

The new tax rates will be as follows:

Profit Tax

$ 10,000,000 or below : No Taxes
$ 10,000,001 to $ 25,000,000 : 5 percent
$ 25,000,001 to $ 50,000,000 : 10 percent
$ 50,000,001 to $ 75,000,000 : 15 percent
$ 75,000,001 to $ 100,000,000 : 20 percent
Above $ 100,000,000 : 25 percent

Fortune Tax

Fortune tax will be calculated at 10 percent of your final bank balance above $ 100 million (after the profit taxes are applied on your season's profit).

Player Shortlists

We had already announced a few seasons back that we will be introducing a way to track players that you are interested in. The development of this feature is complete now and will be available from start of next season.

You can add up to 25 interested players to your team's shortlist, and you will receive notifications whenever the player is listed on the transfer market for sale or for loan, when the player is loaned out, sold or receive any transfer bids. This way you can manage your future transfer prospects more efficiently, and not miss out on a potential transfer because you did not notice that the player was having a transfer activity in the market in time.
