@fathima before its was random pulls and few managers were getting lucky with quality youths in a row so an unanounced update stop that from happening.
Theres no more 5/5 4.5/4.5 in a row.

This will stay, youth generation will still be balanced to ensure no teams get extremely low or extremely high potential/learning players multiple times in a row. But if your youth academy is producing 3 or 4 youth players every season then the probability of atleast one of them being a high quality player is much higher already.

I like it, though Its getting to play them in the first team is the problem.

I've been away for a good year from the game, so I am trying to readapt to the gameplay. For positions, "DM" can play only as a #6 or can they be played as a central midfielder as well with no penalty? The same goes for "WM" can they be played as interiors with no penalty to their performances? Lastly, what is the penalty for playing "CF" as wingers?

On an individual player's progress page, is the rating the combined skills/xp rating now used, or just skills? Also, on the same page, are the ratings showing for previous seasons just skills, or have they been adjusted for xp?

Will surely know that by pre season.

Previous seasons ratings shown in progress were not adjusted. I reported this to Tegimus, he said it will not be fixed since it will cause a lot of confusion regarding values especially when people look at transfer histories, team overall ratings etc

They can increase or decrease at the end of season update.

I can confirm that 4 teams from division 2 in England opted to move to Netherlands division 2 during the last season change.

If both teams have similar ratings and one team has higher xp, then that means the players of the team that has higher xp will have other attributes lower. Theoretically they should perform worse than the team with lower xp
