Attention, I didn't said which one you should keep/use... I just stated a fact: if a player has a lower potential than other he won't be better assuming that both are going to be trained the same way.

Yeah i understand but i feel the 18y p5/L4 will be a better gk because of the cap on skills which means he can easily reach 85-95 on reflex/handling.
while the 16y 4.5/4.5 will surely reach reach 80-88 skills. but in terms of xp the 16y is better.
But from the advise i've recieved so far and looking at my current gk p5/4.5 with lower trainings he became important during his 30s.
Now i've lvl 20 training center so the 18y gonna be fine if given enough game time.

Ok thanks guys i've make up my mind to stick with the 16y gk, at least +12 xp before he reach 18y.

How are we supposed to know if a player is already "maxed out" in a certain skill?

Could it possibly be auto-marked in red color or bolded once that happens? Alternatively, it should be made impossible to assign a player to train in a certain skill if he has already reached his potential limit in it. Allowing players to train skills when they are not able to learn anything new in it seems unreasonable because a player wouldn't even be able to perform in such a training as he is unable to improve that skill anymore.
Also, it would be possible that when the player, his coach and scout all know that player is unable to train in a certain skill, he would be automatically redirected to train other valuable skill that he hasn't maxed out yet using the "auto-set training" feature.

Player's overall "skill potential" in numbers used to be visible in scout's report but this info was erased. What should we rely on now?

Check training report. If a player does not increase anythink is because he is capped. Easy.

If a player of mine is below 0,10 increase per training i start thinking about changing.

Are players gaining skills slower than before? ? I remember my best talents (5/5) increased more than 100 points. Now the max seems around 70 points. What has changed?

There is no maxing out as a hard cap. The training speed will get slower and slower as the skill nears the player's Potential, but they will still keep gaining. The minimum a player can gain in the trained attribute from a training session is 0.01, so he will still keep gaining even after reaching the Potential (until he reaches 99.99), but it will be extremely slow - 0.01 per training session means it will take 100 rounds to gain a full point. You can have a look at the training report on how much he gained recently, and switch to another attribute if it is very low.

Only the exact number is hidden, you can still see the stars in the scout report. A 5 star means 90.00-99.99, 4.5 star means 80.00-89.99 and so on.

After the update to how Potential works, gaining does not depend on a player's total skills anymore, instead it gets slower as the trained attribute gets closer to the player's Potential. So training lower value attributes will give you more gains.

Tegimus, would it be possible at some point, at the end of the season to list the top 10 managers in the game? Not based on trophies or wins, but based more on tactics. The formations used, and position of their players. Newer players could then look at these managers as a template. This would then serve as some kind of tutorial itself for newer players as to, how to use their players in the game. We have the end of the season awards for players. Just thought it would be nice to have an award for the best managers.

But how would you judge if a tactics is good or not? You still have to go by wins and trophies ;)

Yeah, I wasn’t sure if it could be measured or not. With the tactics about to play a more important role in the game, I was just wondering if there was a way to study the good teams. Their formations and tactics. Highest rating & highest XP doesn’t always mean best form or tactics. I have learned a lot from you though Fathima, thanks for all your post on the game. Always looking for tips to improve my club.

Question about moves.
"Any requests to move your team to a new country will be automatically cancelled if your team remains in or gets promoted to the top division of your current country after promotions/relegations at the end of this season."

How do I move, if my team will stay in top div? 🤔 I've seen top div teams moving. Is this an outdated information?

This rule was always there, and was made to stop bot teams from playing in top divisions.
Top teams were allowed to move when new countries were opened, but otherwise we generally don't approve that. But if you have a specific reason why you want to move, please create a support ticket and we will look into it.

Hidden skills that are not revealed by scouts:

Since those skills are not revealed by scouts managers should be able to track them somehow

Please name what the hidden skills are and what is their impact so that managers may somehow make guesses of them reading match report

This is not tactics it is related to skills

If we have no idea what the totally hidden skills do they do not add any value to the game
If managers know what those skills are about they could try to guess based on match report

There are a couple that I would disclose now which might make an impact in the team.
Injury proneness - you can know this by keeping track of how often a player gets injured for no other reason
Determination - if your players actively get involved in staging comebacks in matches, it could be the reason.

Most of these hidden attributes were extensively used by the match engine when the game was launched. But due to users not being able to comprehend reasons for results properly, they have been considerably nerfed in past updates and now their effects are even totally negligible. I can roughly say they don't affect more than 3% to 5% in a player's performance in the current match engine which is comparable to the effects of the random factor. We also wanted to make them transparent, but didn't disclose them yet as we were not sure which ones we actually wanted to totally discard or keep and bring back their importance in future.

There are also a few variable hidden attributes like form and team chemistry which can go up or down from each match. But as I said, our plans are to drop a lot of them and make some of them scoutable or even trainable and make them more relevant in matches in future.
