Its useless that someone has lvl 12 youth academy and his only good pulls are coming through at season end when the player will actually turn 17yr in few rounds.
Change yth generation time.

Can we still see potential value(0-100) of a scouted player after update? If yes, please add potential value in player's training page so we can train players more easily.

Fired every fireable players to make sure he achieves his aim.
After doing @fathima average calculation and compare he has 76 rated team. Because of his average xp of 84.

No!! we see only the stars or 4.5 thing.
My tips is a 5pot, should be considered as 90" at first thought, any extra is bonus.
One thing missing in this update is rare to get a 5 pot, but is guarranted once in a while, which means no more random in the academy from this season. Good update. Because its shit before.

It used to show the actual value but it won't anymore.

Why needed to remove potential value?

Not sure but to make it impossible to know the actual cap of a player skill,

The training and potential changes will be available only for new generated players starting from the next season?
Hope so, because isn't fair to hit all the actual players. We have started few season ago a specific training plans that aren't available with the new changes.

If you are training players to play in your team, then this is actually a good change. Your players will have more balanced attributes and will be better.

If you were training to improve rating and sell instead, then you should be more worried about the rating calculation update. Low xp players will go down in value next season.

Happened the same to me with first skill decline...had a team building from season 2,3 and then boom! in my face..but ok...good skilled players will still be expensive i think

I will be Unable to defend mine maybe, 2 Key players will be retiring and a few ones will turn very old soon

Overall I like the changes, however EiPiX's had a fair question:

Imagine I have player X with 80 in tackling and his potential is only 60. Since he is way above his potential on that attribute, will he lose 15-20 point to correct that? Or will this only be applied to players who havent surpass their current potential and never will?

Btw this change just destroys my tatic of buying players with 5* learning and 3/3,5* potential. They will start to worth much less now. Damn :)

No player will lose already trained skill

Tegimus already replied to this. He said it won't be corrected but higher attributes will drop faster when they get 30 yrs or older regardless of potential/learning

Am thinking if the extra point a skill can increase is base on the maximum potential.
Example:
My favourite defender currently has 71pot/5 learning.
I've being selecting him always because i thought i will train him above his potential.
My question is:
How much can he pass the 71 cap.
Will he reach 79 in some skills since 79 is 4.0 great and 71pot is also 4.0 great.
If not is a big blow to me, and great potential will make no sense.
18y Swason has 4.5/4.5 89pot which slightly miss 5pot, might be the lowest level a top player will need to have in this game.
