F4Football is a fast paced game. Each round in F4Football is half a day in real life, or in other words, every day has two rounds in F4Football. A season in the game comprises of several such rounds. You usually have atleast a match to be played in every round of the game.

The start of every season has a Pre-Season period where no matches are played. Pre-Season usually lasts for a couple of days where teams have an opportunity to asess their squad and matches for the season, and plan their transfers, finances etc. accordingly.

At the end of every season, the game goes under season-change maintenance, where we process various stuff based on the previous season. Most of the features of the game are unavailable during this maintenance period. This only lasts for a couple of hours, and the game is back up and running with a fresh season without much delay.
